My Role
I led the design and execution of Verlas’ signature packaging, including the Keepsake Box, Try-At-Home Box, and Ring Box. In addition, I oversaw the website's UX/UI design and collaborated closely with back-end developers to ensure a seamless digital shopping experience. Every design decision—whether for packaging or digital interactions—was crafted to reflect Verlas' minimalist luxury aesthetic while maintaining an intuitive and functional user journey.
The Challenge
I led the design and execution of Verlas’ signature packaging, including the Keepsake Box, Try-At-Home Box, and Ring Box. In addition, I oversaw the website's UX/UI design and collaborated closely with back-end developers to ensure a seamless digital shopping experience. Every design decision—whether for packaging or digital interactions—was crafted to reflect Verlas' minimalist luxury aesthetic while maintaining an intuitive and functional user journey.
The Solution
I designed and executed solutions across both packaging and digital experiences to create a cohesive, luxurious brand presence for Verlas.
For the website UX/UI design, I led the visual direction and user experience strategy to ensure a seamless and engaging customer journey. Collaborating closely with back-end developers, I ensured the site functioned smoothly, from product exploration to checkout, providing an intuitive and immersive online shopping experience.
The Keepsake Box was designed as a sleek and transportable jewelry storage solution. It featured a hard composite exterior, an ultra-suede lining, a magnetic lid, and a padded separator to protect the jewelry inside. The box included seven individual compartments to securely hold rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and bangles while maintaining a minimalist and elegant aesthetic.
For the Try-At-Home Box, I developed a compact yet innovative packaging solution that allowed customers to try on jewelry before making a purchase. Designed to open like the Keepsake Box but at half the size and slightly taller, it featured removable and reversible display pads that could securely hold either rings or earrings. The interior shelf was angled at 30º, creating a refined reveal that enhanced the presentation and overall customer experience.
To complete the packaging suite, I designed the Ring Box, a simple yet sophisticated piece that aligned perfectly with the rest of Verlas’ branding. Featuring a black suede exterior and a charcoal gray suede interior, the Ring Box maintained the brand’s luxurious and modern aesthetic while ensuring a seamless unboxing experience.
